Le Huu Ha adapted The Brother Four’s Greenfields to Đồng Xanh. I remember my dad— turning it up in the car and yelling over the highway all about it. He was a fan of some of Le’s original compositions too. I didn’t quite understand then. I still remembered a few lyrics in, because he would blare it all the time. I really liked the sound so I blared it twice as hard. Not to say, it’s an absolutely insane song in translation.
